AYA necklace exhibited at HomiDesign Milano

In this jewel, inspired by the colours of nature and the sun, green and yellow blend theirselves in this "Amulet jewel", expressing a fusion between modernity and tradition, and between distant cultures, rich in history. The colours of Kente cloth are handwoven in Ghana since ancient times for the Ashanti Kings. Green means spiritual growth and renewal, yellow is a symbol of wealth, prosperity and royalty. They evoke those of the so-called Golden Valley in Sicily, once lush and fragrant of orange blossom and citrus.
The jewel is enriched by many small pearl of paper, finished with waterproofing materials to ensure its durability and strength over time. Kente cloth is laid out on rectangular green bases allowing its better preparation and the visibility of its texture.
The jewel, selected by Artistar Jewels, is exhibited at Homi Design 2016 in Milan.
