POETIC TATTOO exhibited at HomiDesign Milano

In this black and white medallion, hung on a delicate 925 silver necklace, the rigid lines of the precious Kente fabric, handmade in Ghana and used for the clothes of the Ashanti Kings, and the sinuous curves of the decoration dialogue in harmony, forming a "tattoo " poetic.
The grandeur of the medallion is given by the carton plant that is a base for the entire jewel, while the openwork decoration of the treated cardboard, with its soft lines, evoke magnificent tribal tattoos. The cloth's patterns overlook from the openwork, in the colours of white (a symbol of purity) and black (meaning maturity and spiritual energy).
To be wore with a neutral outfit like white, or an eccentric clothing, playing with contrasting colors.
The jewel, selected by Artistar Jewels, is exhibited at Homi Design 2016 in Milan.
